Seems like he should get a legitimate shot at qb. I had to suffer through weak armed Mac and it feels like I'm deserved to see a qb that can throw in the wind. Plus we seemed to draft wrs that excel at catching difficult passes so whatever issues he has with accuracy may not be a problem.
Polk doesn't remind me of Harry. Polk seems very average but that production is extremely high. Seems sneaky good. Feels like he is here to replace Parker. I think I need to see him play for us before I can make any snap decision.
With the way the draft has fallen, we could go with best player available on defense or even running back. I just have a feeling we aren't going for need with our next pick.
If we do go for need then wr and Coleman stands out for me.
The head coach of the falcons specifically said he got the job because the previous regime didn't have a qb. He then signed Kirk and now Penix. He is making sure inadequate resources at qb will never be a problem during his tenure.
He makes more big time throws than anyone in this draft imo, but I don't trust our oline. Our shaky oline is half the reason I'm drawn to dual threat qbs like Jayden Daniels.
I like Bourne and I'm optimistic about KJ, but outside of that I am not impressed with anyone. Juju is poopoo and Douglas doesn't quite do it for me. Someone like MHJ or Nabers is extremely tempting. I felt someone like Darnell Mooney would have fit well here but that nor any major moves have...
Jayden Daniels followed by JJ, Nix and lastly Penix is who I want early. Devin Leary is my late round choice. I see the possibilities with Maye but my gut says he is a bust that will be at best the second coming of Blake Bortles.
While i understand the excitement around Douglas, the guy with the most potential is the forgotten Marcus Jones. I wonder if this new staff will try him more at wr. He is pure electricity with the ball in his hands.
