I'd give it a B. Thought the Pats focused too much on need and passed on talent. Would have liked them to have picked one of the CBs at 34. I also think there wasn't a need to double dip at WR as the Pats WRs weren't as bad as projected (they would have been fine with an average QB).

But I thought it was TB and TB only, that BB was just along for the ride. And yes, Ernie was a big loss to BB, but it just demonstrates how good of a coach BB was, surrounding himself with capable persons.
Maybe the Pats went to the USC pro day so they could compare the other QBs against Williams, i.e. how much better is Williams vs. the guys that will be available to the Pats? It's called due dilegence.
