I think this part of your analysis is spot on. He handles adversity poorly, which just creates more adversity, which compounds/spirals into disaster.

In 2022, he seem to be always near the ball, a lead on the play and featured on camera a lot. Barely noticed him this year.

I like Vrable the man, coach and player just fine, but he just delivered essentially the same W/L record as Belichick did over the past two seasons. Had he been here during that time, half the board would be angrily shouting for him to be fired.
