As Kyed said, many teams in the back half of the 2nd (you know, the teams with winning records and in the playoffs last year) were hoping to get Polk when their pick came up. Not sure how that makes him a reach 10 picks earlier.
I wrote about Polk last week, and I watched a lot of him, so of course Im not going to change my position just because the Patriots picked him.

Is Polk that different from Keon Coleman, who was taken at 33? Would you all have **** your pants if they took Coleman who only ran a 4.62 forty?

All these Harry posts leave something out….the personality and human behind the skill set. By all accounts this Polk dude is a hard worker and ferocious. Harry was soft as soft can be mentally.
This is what I am holding onto. By all accounts he is a tough route runner and saw some film where he was leading the huddle so that speaks well to his character. All things Harry lacked.

Didn't want him either, the fact these two were Patriot objectives at pick two is concerning.

For those who like Coleman, he ran 4.6.

So Field Yates, Mike Reiss etc love Polk. Knew he would go in 2nd round
But all the genius talent evaluator’s on this site know better
Sorry I’ll go with the guys who are more informed
Give him a chance

Was hoping for Ad Mitchell

Yes!

He is different.

Keon Coleman is *actually* N'Keal Harry. Polk is Kendrick Bourne. He'll be fine, solid, not a game changer. People calling him N'Keal Harry haven't seen Polk play.

I wouldn't have liked picking Coleman. If you want a truly accurate comparison to N'Keal Harry he's the one.

But yes. We should be wildly impressed at taking N'Keal Harry 3.0.
Who was N’Keal Harry 2.0? Parker? He at least has had some success in the NFL.

Polk doesn't remind me of Harry. Polk seems very average but that production is extremely high. Seems sneaky good. Feels like he is here to replace Parker. I think I need to see him play for us before I can make any snap decision.

Their degrees in broadcast communication makes them experts?

If a 4.52 met the Pats standards, those standard suck and need to be changed.
So you’d hate a WR corps of Nacua, Kupp, and AJ Brown?

Wasn’t on my radar either. I wanted JPJ or Kingsley or Paul. But Jesus people, give the kid a chance. Seems like a hard worker, productive, and everyone in the process seemed to love him.
