I am very aware that it is by design. I did not question it. My question was WHY is it by design? Why the hell would guys who are in the meetings all week with their teammates, out on the practice field, etc...be SENT HOME for games just because they are not playing? If you don't want them on...
First, let me start with the question...
I have asked this question so many times and not gotten an answer so here goes again...but why do players who are inactive get sent home? I can somewhat understand why players don't travel with the team...although that seems weird too. But, for home...
We are missing that LEADER on defense. Seattle has a few of them.
Collins was not that guy. He is quiet and timid. Hightower is SUPPOSED to be our leader on D but he is also a quiet guy. McCourty as well.
We have some good, solid players on our defense...but nobody that is the bonafide...
They should've made him into a pass rusher. They should have let him pass rush...let Roberts and Hightower be on field at same time. He would've been dynamic as a pass rusher. Let him rush the passer, play out the season, and then go on his merry way. That way, he would've gotten the money he...
I could be way wrong about this but I feel like corners who usually have the most success here tend to show it right out of the gate. I can't recall many corners having a bad first year and then rebounding. Once again, I could be WAY off on that sentiment and I hope that I am. I hope Cyrus turns...
Exactly. BB obviously did a great job that year as the defense (secondary especially) was an absolute joke. But Brady is the real reason. Gronk's injury was everything that year. We were so close and were the better team in my opinion (same as in 07). Go figure.
I know I'm beating a dead horse a little bit over here with the Hightower/Collins contract talk but I'm quite surprised nothing has been done and it doesn't even seem like it's in the works. Maybe it is and we don't know (very possible) but I wonder what's going on? Hightower and Collins are two...
Just have to pray we don't get hit with injuries. A loss to Collins and/or Hightower would be devastating. Butler getting hurt would be as well. I'd even throw Sheard into that category. I think with the depth at Safety, if we lost McCourty we'd be ok with Harmon.
I have a feeling Collins and Hightower are going to be tough to resign...tougher than I originally thought. They need to lock these guys up before the season in my opinion.
Interesting. Didn't know any of that about chop blocking etc. Its very obvious he is stockpiling these types of DTs so clearly there is some sort of reasoning behind it. It's interesting because he seemed to be going the opposite way the last few years.
Really like what I've heard out of...
Was just reading an article about how the Patriots appear to be shifting to more of a 3-4 than 4-3 (which to me, is all just a bunch of BS anyway, because BB seems to do whatever week to week and is more multiple than anything). But, when looking at the roster and our DL....we have alot of meat...
Thuney, Kline, Mason, Stork, Cooper would be my guess as the 5 who make it.
I know Dante liked Jackson coming out but I don't know about him. Andrews is undersized and is a Center only. Stork is better when healthy. Thuney replaces Andrews because of his ability to play Guard and even Tackle...
Thanks everyone who apologized and all that. I just wanted to get the info out. Like i said in my first post, I would never waste my time and go out of my way to post some fake information just to rile people up. But I guess it's natural for people to think that about just a name they see on...
It was 100 percent Edelman dude. 100 percent. Like I said, Amendola and he rolled in together with Vereen. They rolled up in a big black SUV blasting rap music and came in. They were escorted in with the owner and seated at a table with a bunch of chicks. My friend, who's a Giants fan...even...
Thank you. I'm just giving some info that I happened to come across personally. I find it interesting it has not been reported but it makes sense because its the offseason and like you said, this organization is pretty secretive as it is.
Also,
if you look at Bounce's instagram (bouncesportingclub)....there is a video that day of Shane Vereen dancing at a table with girls...just like I said. Pretty sure Edelman and DA were done by that point of the video though.
Bounce is not a "medicore" bar. It's one of the most popular sports bars in the city. Why? They have beautiful women that work there and go there. There's usually a door man in front, who doesn't just let any Joe Schmo in. Lots of athletes go there. The owners are very welcoming to professional...
Bounce is a sports bar/club. When I saw these guys roll in, it was around 5 PM. The place was relatively quiet. They went straight to a table in the back where the owner was...and a bunch of girls. It wasn't like the place was full and everyone was gawking at them trying to get photos. Like...
