Absolutely love his letter to GMs, easy guy to root for...But not banging the table for him
Lot to like as a player, awesome intangibles...Just not in love with (I'm not in love with any of those QBs)
Never wish this on anybody, but here goes my predictions for busts in 2024:
QB Caleb Wiliiams, USC (Incredibly overrated, more flashy than consistently dominant)
QB JJ McCarthy, UM (Unwarrantedly hyped as a R1 prospect, has shown little in college as a passer)
WR Xavier Leggette, USC (struggles...
Obviously highly rated defenders will have success against similarly as talented WRs, but the no names that stand out while watching elite prospects fascinates me...I'm sure there's others
Always curious about what defenders have success on the elite prospects
I remember Patriots legend Jemea Thomas had some success against elite WR prospects like Sammy Watkins and I'm missing a few (Maybe Benjamin, Woods, Lee, Evans?)
Day 3/UDFA Binkies:
QB Joe Milton, TENN
QB Garrett Shcrader, Syracuse
RB Miyan Williams, Ohio State
RB DJ Williams, Arizona
WR Drake Stoops, Oklahoma
OG Jacob Monk, Duke
DE Braiden McGregor, Michigan
DT T'Vondre Sweat, Texas
LB Michael Barrett, Michigan
K Will Reichard, Alabama
While I recognize this is a good QB class, I predict Williams a bust and am not a huge Maye fan...I don't even love Daniels, but I would prefer him of him/Maye for NE...I'm in favor of trading down for a haul and taking a Sanders/Ewers/Dart in 2025 after a terrible year
I almost threw money on him going 1st round because Richardson sucked at UF and had a good combine and now looks promising...Very similar players although Milton is bigger....Easily worth a Day 3 flier
Excellent point and I agree with you fully
IMO, the last couple of RB classes are not what they used to be...CB classes too, which goes back to your point...Meanwhile the WR classes are always loaded
Strange has been solid and getting better when he was healthy...He is a starting OG as of now...hopefully can develop a little more...Flashed a ton, especially his rookie year
No way....Already a better passer than McCarthy, but he's going back for a reason...to further develop...He will be botha first round pick and franchise QB
Love Sanders, hopefully can separate himself from a potential circus with his dad
