Wow. I've been off the boards for a while. The whole look has changed.
Anyway, my brother and I are going to the Jets game and we've never taken the game train to MetLife. What time should we leave, which station is best to leave from, are the trains well-marked? etc. etc.
We are also...
I'm excited, but not as excited as I used to get about these games.
The first Pats/Giants Super Bowl really affected my fandom (fanhood?).
That Tyree helmet catch really sucked some of the joy out of it for me.
To be THAT close to perfection, with that little time left, just to lose on...
This puts the Panthers in an awkward situation. If they end up getting a big lead, it will look like they are kicking a team when they're down.
The only thing worse than this case, was when wrestler Chris Benoit killed his wife, then killed his own young son with a wrestling hold, then...
Ravens, Cardinals, Seahawks,...are we done with the bird-named teams yet?
Seriously, these fourth-quarter losses are getting harder and harder to stomach.
Announcer said it was Brady's first game in Seattle- could that be right? Did Matt Cassel QB last time there or something?
Hey, I don't have enough posts to start a thread in the regular forum, but have been here for years.
These road game collapses (Denver, Indy, Miami, Houston- forgetting any?) have been horrible to witness.
What can they do differently to put away teams and finish games?
More substitutions...
Please tell me that's not the official Super Bowl 43 logo in your avatar-- ugly!
I haven't been to Gillette since the mall was built and still can't really picture that. It seems like it would be such a clash with the tailgating atmosphere on gameday. Is the mall open on gameday? I can...
If he's not going to write anything, could you at least take down his headline from the main page - "A fourth Super Bowl would mean everything" ?
It's just a reminder of the optimism we had about something that didn't happen........
I'm still not buyng the "we need to lose" idea.
So you want 13-3? Which three do you think they should try and lose so I'll know not to bother watching those games?
Re: Ticket price increase
I'm pretty surprised/impressed by some of you long time season ticket holders.
It can't be an easy decision, especially after many years.
I give you credit for knowing your own limits, financially or otherwise.
I understand the supply-and-demand business side, but...
Thanks for sharing that link.
Truly a remarkable play.
I got to meet Ben Watson at an event at last year's Super Bowl and wish I could have thanked him for that. ( I mentioned his play in the JAX playoff game before the Denver game).
That game was such a huge loss, people forgot that hit...
I don't buy any "they were tired after a long season" excuses.
This team earned a first round bye, then got a bye between the AFCCG and the Super Bowl.
If anyone should have been tired, it would have been the Giants with three road playoff games and traveling to London to play the Dolphins in...
I know there's really nothing new to say about the Patriots' devastating Super Bowl loss, but I was really hoping to read one last column from my fellow Maine resident here at Patsfans before moving on.
You out there Kevin? If you're still in a state of shock it's totally excusable.
People say, his job is to coach, not be a spokesman.
I say it's both. The coach is the face of the team. It's part of the job- like it or not.
Nobody expects happy and joking and smiling- especially after a loss- but BB takes it to extreme levels and it's embarassing as a fan of this...
