Heading into the 2023 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots have a fair amount of talent at the receiver position, but they're still in need of an impact wideout to complement their current group of skill players on offense.

I suspect that Groh doesn't have any of the WR's rated as being worth the 14th pick.

Also, even if a WR is the BPA, it doesn't mean that he is worth the 14th pick. If not, a trade down is in order, as was the case last year.

I see at least the following as being rated higher than 14:
QB (3)
OT (3), although Skoronski may not be on our board.
CB (3)
front seven (4)

I suspect that another OT and perhaps another corner may be rated higher than the receivers by Groh.

I favor a trade up. However, I see that a trade down may be there if Groh judges that all of the blue-chippers are gone.
