LOL. Leading up to the game most you had alka-seltzer in one hand and aspirin in the other.
The Chargers DID lose to a SUPERIOR TEAM, i.e., San Diego Chargers; they lost to themselves.
Everyone knows that, including you.
Football players taking steroids. Talking trash. Before, during and after the game. Football players committing crimes. I expect all of this. It's par for the course, in my opinion. The only thing I really thought was surprising before all this was Wade Phillips' comments.
But, for me, the most classless thing to come out of all of this (i.e. the unexpected) is the fact that LT is a sore loser who cries and makes unfounded accusations. Calling BB a classless coach is very low. LT is all about image. This fake "classy" image is the way he markets himself. The guy is a fraud. And for me, he's the most classless of all the people mentioned in this thread.
Humiliating people on the football field is one thing. Humiliating people at a pep rally is par for the course too. But questioning someone's character, casting aspersions on his person, is very very low.
LT has no character. He is scum.[/QUOTE]

LT is a scum? LOL.

Corey who?
:singing:
Hahahhaha thanks for proving everyone's point. If I read correctly they were commenting on the character (or lack thereof) of LdT, yet you retort with a list of his statistical achievements.
That is precisely why that team is going to be sitting at home in the dark with the "Lights Out". You (and the team) appear to value individual statistics, showboating, and selfishness.
Me, I'll stick to my team that for the most part has good players, good people, and those who value the team as a whole and the end result as opposed to their own personal achievements.

Add showboating to the list of things your team values as well.

Hey, would you rather be good or lucky in poker? I'd take the latter too.
LUCK is what brings you in, not that your team is good. Sorry I don't buy the argument.
Yeah, Lucky might win you a tournament, see Jamie Gold, but you don't win three SBs in five years and knock off five number 1 seeds by being lucky. Nice try though.
Corey who?
That's hilariously funny. The Patriots have such a LONG history of having SUPERIOR teams losing to 'themselves'. Pittsburgh who had their reservations in New Orleans, St. Louis who was unstoppable, Raiders, the Colts who have been acclaimed for years as totally superior to the Patriots, and NOW the Chargers who had their superbowl celebration planned, etc. etc. etc.----------------

Luck has little to do with what we witnessed this past Sunday. And luck has little to do with the Patriots 3 most recent trips to the Superbowl as each one has gone through the league MVP(s) for each season. The Patriots weren't lucky, the Chargers simply imploded from the coaching to the defense to the offense turning the ball over. It's not a matter of skill either, it's a matter of discipline and team sacrifice.
Keep in mind though, Patriot fans really didn't get to see much of the 'end of game' antics as they really weren't broadcast on TV...which would have been the ONLY way we could have seen them as your classy organization decided to restrict ticket sales to Southern Cal residents only - now THAT's home field advantage wasted imo.
The faces of the Chargers' players suggested they expected to win by 20 points, and when LaDainian Tomlinson scored to make it 21-13 with eight minutes to go, they decided to act as if they were ahead by 20 points. With eight minutes remaining, the Bolts were celebrating on the sidelines, and the clueless Schottenheimer did not tell them to get their heads back in the game. Schottenheimer was oblivious to the 16-ton weight about to be dropped on his head -- even though the opponent was the most efficient, unflappable team in NFL history! When New England's players saw some Chargers celebrating on the sidelines with eight minutes remaining as if it was already over, and realized the clueless Schottenheimer was oblivious, they smelled blood. I'll never forget the look on Michael Jordan's face when he saw Charles Barkley start to dance and clown around with a minute left in an NBA Finals game that Barkley thought Phoenix had already won. Jordan smelled blood, and a moment later the NBA crown was his.
Beyond what was said in "print" and what was relayed by Reche, you've also got to account for this board.
We already have proof that some players families and friends DO read this board. We already have proof that people in the Pats org DO read this board.
So they DID see all of those ****y @ss-hat trolls coming here running smack in the name of the Chargers. They knew that everyone in the country thought that the Chargers would win. From the media, to the Chargers players and coaches, to 'everyone but patsfans' fans.
The National media might be jumping on this whole 'give them a tampon' cry-fest, but the Chargers and their fans and the media all deserved a huge "f#ck you" and I'm, for one, glad that the Pats gave it to them.
LIGHTS OUT!!!
Now, on to the Colts.
what proof is that?? im honestly just wondering i didnt know that...thats actually cool if some of the players check this board out..i remember bethel had his own website hahaha
Nice lil video of Rivers shouting at the Bengals fans - "So did you think it was over!?!?"
