Welker played exactly the same way when he played for the Pats. You guys can dish it out but you sure can't take it.

Says the Coltsfan whose only Super Bowl came courtesy of 4 ridiculous refs decisions that handed the AFCCG to you on a platter.

And liked by the Broncos fan whose only 2 Super Bowls wins came courtesy of the biggest cheating scandal in NFL history.

There is a reason why the Colts and Pats had the least penalties in the league. Their players are taught to wait until the pass is caught to throw blocks.

"near simultaneous" is a fabricated excuse.

The block may happen before the catch, after the catch, or simultaneous.

In this case it was before the catch.

Looking at this picture it was a penalty for sure because the ball didn't arrive yet. But it wasn't a dirty play, in fact it was a great play. You want your WR making these blocks. Welker just timed it early. Looking at this i don't think it's dirty just a good football play. Great pic

Perhaps in your effort as an apologist for the weasel, your have forgotten that the only person speaking for the Pats is Bill Bellichick and he has said plenty which you apparently find offensive. I don't think he tolerates cheap shots from his players even verbal ones without punishment. and we the real pats fans respect that. So why don't you and the rest of the weasel ball washers go root for the Broncos and STFU on this site.

It's a dirty play.

Belichick said it' s one of the worst he's seen.

The reason is that when a CB is in pursuit of a WR, he's not expecting someone to body block him at full speed from the side. He may expect to be illegally rubbed off his pursuit, blocked, obstructed, or even pushed.

You just don't see receivers throwing cross body blocks into CBs prior to reception. It simply doesn't happen, and the rare times it happens, it is what Belichick said it was.A dirty play. It's reckless, and the fact that it results in injury is predictable.

Let's take Patriots\Broncos and Welker\Talib out of it. If a defender initiated the contact as the ball hit the receivers hands there would have been a flag thrown and likely a fine. Most of the offensive players around the league I've heard speak up have done so in favor of Welker. Most of defensive against him.

I have rooted for the Pats since Butch Songin was their QB and Lou Saban was their coach and i know a dirty play and dirty player when I see one. i find BB to be a honest coach who doesn't teach his players to be dirty like the POS that coaches the team you really root for.
