John Fox is out in Denver

Actually that's exactly what I'm hearing, and I think the rumor about McDaniel's to Broncos is also by ways of Adam.....that's somewhat worrisome if Peyton returns and it turns out there's nothing really wrong with him, just a temporary injury. I don't want McDaniel's coaching him up on how to run a real NFL offense, let alone, having the inside scoop on our own.

I said it before though, and I will repeat, if they forced Manning into this offense they ran to end the season, Peyton deserves to go out better than this. His way, passing the **** out of the ball, picks and chocking, and all that.

I wouldn't worry too much about that though. When has Peyton ever listened to a coach in like the last 12 years of his NFL life? I can't see him taking any coaching from Josh McDaniels, who still looks like he just graduated college.

Denver has just been one Wow after another the last 24 hours...

Too bad no one saw that coming..........

I do believe the term Chinese Lunch was used.

So much for "all in."

fox is a good coach.
No he isn't; VERY overrated. He's a smarmy used-car salesman who sat in his easy chair smoking stogies and reading the newspaper while Del Rio and Forehead Omaha ran the team. The Tebow machinations came from his offensive coordinator and they won games DESPITE Tebow, not because of him. I'd be surprised if Fox lands another head coaching job.

I just don't understand firing coaches that clearly give their team a chance to win and make it to the playoffs. Schottenheimer fired after going 14-2, Harbaugh this year, Fox, etc. But guys like Marvin Lewis who haven't won a playoff game just stick around.

With the exception of Marvin Lewis who needs to go just for the sake of change, coaches that win at least 10 games in the regular season should keep their job or at least be given some leeway if they slightly falter the following year.

Why would Manning ever retire?????

He still has Wes Welker whom the Patriots stupidly let get away last year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

d%#*!@t, why do we have to be stuck with Edelman? He's a poor man's Welker and all he did was get hurt his first 4 years in the league!

Oh, the "All-In, Win Now" crowd must be stunned.

You are having too much fun with the I Can't Stand It thread. lol.

For many reasons, I was rooting for Denver to win yesterday.

Manning sucked. But John Fox is a terrible coach. His reasoning for not preparing for the sound in last years Superbowl just accentuates how bad of a coach he is. I always thought John Fox would get fired a year after Manning retired. I never expected it to come so soon.

Oh and for anyone citing how he won with Tim Tebow? Well that's because teams got arrogant against Tim Tebow and didn't respect him. Cover zero in the playoffs in OT? You got what you deserved **** Lebeau.

He did have a health scare last year. But, i don't think people here were saying he was a bad coach

Add "Coach Killer" to the pantheon of Manling nicknames...

Fox is a mediocre HC who got 2 one and dones out of rosters that should have been vying for an AFC Championship each of the last 3 years.

I'm sad they fired him.

Define "too much" :D

The boss closed it. :(

I saw that because I was going to post something in it and saw it was closed. I was going to say that thread reminded me of one I had a lot of fun with in 2007, which said something like "This Team is at best 11-5 or 10-6". Something like that. It was just so much fun to keep bumping it up. Good times.

John Elway don't care, he can't stand it!
