Watching ESPN and Adam Shefter just said that the NFL is investigating it. I wonder what the punishment would be?

Excellent news. It's about time that the JEST organization was held to the standards of conduct as the rest of the league.

I say for the caliber of the player, we should see at least a 2nd.

The interesting question is whether this just happened, or has just been made public.

Good question. I suspect it will be fleshed out over the next few days. It was probably released today by Goodell in order to fly under the radar, what with the Championship games being played today, and all the hooptyhoop that goes with it.

The Commish can safely hold off on any statements until after MLK day. After that, however, it's gonna grow legs. The NYC media will eat this up like sharks at a feeding frenzy.

If Kraft pushes hard enough, we might. I'd be pleasantly surprised with a 3rd, but it will most likely be swapping 4ths. The league shouldn't have needed prodding.

Due to it simply being a statement made kind of reminiscing I can't see the penalty being harsh, I'll be pleased with ANY reward for us and ANY penalty to the Jets, really not expecting much unless they find out they were also talking TO Revis and not just mentioning him.

Then it's a whole different story.

Still love seeing the Jets organization look stupid, and to our benefit, no less.

There you go Kraft, don't accept his BS apology.

And Schefter's statement:

The first comment lol "The Pats have the nerve"

More like Johnson is a drunk idiot.
The NFL’s tampering policy says, “Any public or private statement of interest, qualified or unqualified, in another club’s player to that player’s agent or representative, or to a member of the news media, is a violation of the Anti-Tampering Policy.”

Doesn't seem particularly ambiguous.

Does anyone know if there is a time deadline for the patriots to have filed the complaint? I just find it kind of odd timing for the patriots to do that on the eve of the conference championship game. Does anyone know if they were up against the clock so to speak?
