Need to draft a QB in the next draft and Bill needs to go. 4th season post-Brady and the team is a lot closer to getting the #1 pick then they are making the playoffs.

I can make a long list of Belichik’s many missteps, but ultimately, as Bill Parcells said, you are what your record says you are. The Bill vs Tom debate is long over. For the same reason they brought in Zappe to see what he can do in a lost game, Kraft needs to fire Bill now and give Mayo a chance to show what he can do to salvage a lost season. Hopefully, maybe he’ll do better than Zappe.

Yeah, never mind the qb, the patriots under BB were disciplined , mistake free, they did all the little things right, and took advantage of the Other teams mistakes. We don't see that anymore, we"re the ones that make the mistakes which leads me to believe that the coaching isn't there any longer. I think jones might have been a really good qb, but the General Manager never got him a decent o-line and the skill players to go with it, and his decisions such as far as coaches go was another disaster.

I said before the season that I was less concerned about the record. I just wanted to see this team making progress this season to being a contender in the next few years. They were showing some of that the first two games. But they started to regress against the Jets and completely fell apart the last two games.

It is time to move on from Belichick. The Pats need a complete turn over on offense. Not one player is a must keep. Mac Jones is broken. The o-line is awful. The receivers can’t get open. Nothing worth keeping.

The most significant and now back-breaking decision this offseason was whether to continue with Mac Jones at QB. Obviously they went with Mac, a move you fully advocated for after becoming Mac's full time apologist on this board.

If it's true that Belichick should be fired, you're the last person that should be making that statement.

Who is the Jimmy Johnson to follow our Tom Landry? Is it Mayo?

Mayo is a continuation of Bill. Their message is dead. We need an offensive coach to develop our next quarterback. I'm all in for McVay.

I think they need to look at moving on. And - as to your succession question - I’d accept that the next few coaches might be duds. I don’t think they can Landry/Johnson this. Highly improbable.

One good thing about this season. I get back close to 5+ hours every week from following the pats . And no emotional distress when you know you are tanking .

I wanna see Zappe start with DD, Boutte, Reagor, and Thornton next week. If they suck, I wanna see it. Can't be too much worse than what we've seen over the last 2 weeks. Zap also needs to ease up on the caffeine. Geezus. Could see the overthrow on the release.

Yes, Sr should fire the GM and coach, retire, and allow Jonathan to hire a GM.

You make it sound easy, just go out and draft another qb, but its not. Its hard to find a top notch quarter back. Look at the highly regarded class that mac was in, they've all bombed but t lawrance

They had one of the worst offenses in the league and downgraded from Meyers and Harris. They didn't really do much to address the offensive line. And they went pretty much all in on defense and injuried basically nullified that.

Worst home shutout loss for the Patriots since 1969 vs KC (31-0). Just brutal.

The Patriots suffered their WORST loss in 50 years!

It's time to finally stop. You're just embarrassing yourselves at this point.

It's clear that the Patriots need to make wholesale CHANGES to this offense for next year.

The offense is a complete JOKE. Keystone cops - fumbling, bumbling, turnovers, and ZERO points on the board.

Not even a single drive that threatened a touchdown.

This isn't just a scheme issue anymore as was the case last season, it's an overall TALENT issue!

Kraft needs to take away BB's GM KEYS. He can not be allowed to RUIN our talent base on offense year after year!

You guys wondered why I was so negative about our draft? Because we didn't address ANY offensive needs whatsoever despite GLARING NEEDS!

Who knows maybe BB even 'retires' gracefully rather than officially getting fired but something needs to change DRASTICALLY before we see any improvement!

The only question is, does BB even understand how AWFUL the situation is or will he just 'run it back' this way the rest of the season and hope that things magically change somehow?

Mac needs to see the bench for a while. No reason to keep starting him. He's not showing any improvement.

I have a really hard time seeing Bill back next year after the trainwreck so far.

Is Shedeur Sanders special? I like the idea of having Prime Time's kid on the team. I'm assuming some issues with decision making and maturity, however, after hearing he's already bought a Maybach and a Rolls Royce Phantom as a college kid.
