I'll give you three names who represent high value to me of the remaining prospects.
WR - Troy Franklin. He put up video game numbers with the Ducks racking up 1,383 yards and 14 TDs. Great route runner, very productive. 6'3 187 lbs. I don't know how he fell into the 4th but he could be a...
Interesting conversation about ranking the top 30 WRs in the 2024 NFL draft.
One guy liked Polk more than the other, ranking him all the way up to 6th in this class and the reason why - his NFL comp is Chris Godwin.
Check it out here:
Another interesting note is that the #5/6 guy on both of...
How do the words "Judge for yourself" come across I'm trying to convince you of anything.
"Judge for yourself" means, draw your own conclusions.
All the highlight reel did is give you video footage of what he has done at the college levels.
Feel free to disagree with the opinion that he...
LOL. AP beat me to the post. We were thinking the same thing.
OK. So instead here's a Polk highlight reel. Judge for yourself.
I think he projects as a #2 receiver. More of a Z than an X but hey he played a pretty good second fiddle to Rome Odunze and the stat I'm hearing is about 45 of...
2006 was a horrible draft. Hopefully we got at least 2/3 of the picks right this time around. Drake Maye is really the biggest key to this draft being a success.
Oh, we only moved up in the 4th instead of getting an extra 4th round pick? OOF. Thought we gained a pick.
Would have liked to see a little more value gained from that move down.
Didn't see a thread for this pick yet so here he is. He's a big boy. 6'5, 314 lbs.
He's the "other" Penn State tackle who played opposite from Olu Fashanu.
Wallace put up decent athletic benchmarks with:
40-Yard Dash: 5.15 seconds
10-Yard Split: 1.74 seconds
Vertical Jump: 31″
Broad Jump...
Well I didn't have Wallace rated that highly. Truthfully he was not even on my radar as a possible tackle candidate.
But gotta keep in mind that he is a 3rd round pick.
Could we have moved up for Kingsley? Yes.
But the Patriots apparently thought this Wallace kid was gonna be their guy in...
Chiefs just took our guy, potentially. Kingsley Suamataia. Ugh. I would have really liked him at #68 or a small trade up.
I hope we have a backup option that we are comfortable taking.
This draft is falling almost too perfectly for the defending superbowl champs.
It didn't help that the...
That's a really low bar, man.
In 2021, Kristian Wilkerson, a part time player for the Patriots, caught more touchdowns in 1 game, TWO, than Harry did ALL SEASON in 12 games played, ZERO. :poop:
Keep in mind that Wilkerson was out of the league entirely in 2022. :haha:
I've heard that too but it might be related to his medical issues. IE he can't go full throttle every play because of his diabetes. It's really hard to separate those two issues.
I found out recently that Adonai Mitchell has a diabetes issue that affects his personality. Like he is really hard to handle when his blood sugar is low. I believe this is why he is falling in the draft. Otherwise he probably would have been taken in the 1st.
I don't know a lot about Polk...
Interesting stuff: Ja'Lynn Polk had an unofficial RAS score of 9.11 so he might be more athletic than you think.
Here's a scouting report that projects Polk as an X receiver and a top-75 prospect: 2024 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Ja'Lynn Polk
