Collins has seemingly left a lot to be desired since getting paid, but I’m currently watching a replay of TNF and he tackled and wrapped up a Jest receiver on a crossing route short of the sticks.
Still waiting for one of our linebackers do to something like that... :p
I am shakily predicting a close win by the Pats in a shootout, but this is largely due to the exploits of Tom Brady.
Without Brady, I feel the Bucs win this game rather easily. The set-up for these Thursday Night Football games are atrocious, especially for the visiting team traveling...
Posters should simmer down with this "injury prone" nonsense. If Hightower is re-signed, then it is a major addition to a defense that with further fortifications to the front seven in FA/Draft may take another step forward from the great season they had in 2016.
I'm not playing anybody anywhere because I am not a NEP coach. :p
Now that you mention it, it does seem a bit redundant. Could be that they are shipping Butler out. But based on what they currently have, Butler inside makes the most sense because he is the better tackler and the most...
Gilmore, Butler, Rowe are a tantalizing top 3. Hopefully the two Joneses can take that 2nd year leap and give this team quality options vs spread formations.
The Atlanta offense is going to be the biggest challenge the Patriots defense has faced this season by a large margin. That being said, I do trust the coaches to come up with a game-plan that slows down their offense enough to allow Brady and company to go to work. This is a team on a mission.
But all week all I heard from the national media was how Rodgers is the greatest thing since sliced bread and that based on last week's shaky performance, Brady was burnt toast!
Guess they were wrong!
What a difference a year makes. A healthy offensive line, top-notch coaching from Scar, and a physical mentality that permeates throughout the entire roster was manifest in the performance of Cannon yesterday. One of the things that stood out was how Cannon would not get into a hand fight with...
Interesting nugget about the dual running back sets. If anyone watched that game earlier this season between Atlanta and Denver, then these types of packages were the ones that Atlanta really hurt Denver with on account of their two talented running backs, Freeman and Coleman.
Steelers at the moment are the one team that makes me most nervous in regards to potential playoff matchups. Bell is a matchup nightmare, and the Patriots have had issues covering running backs on passing plays.
So, I guess it is safe to call it a consensus on these boards that Cyrus Jones is the default meme for blame whenever anything deleterious happens to the Patriots going forward.
