Yup, the know it all fantasy fueled armchair HC/GM/OC post NEM implosion. And linking to that OTHER board inhabited by moneyballers and generational second guessers.

Couldn't agree more. I'm very excited and happy, and this isn't the time to be critical.
Nothing's ever good enough for some people.
Today is NOT the day to say "Let's talk about where we can improve".

Today is NOT the day to say "Let's talk about where we can improve". Yet I've already seen several threads discussing this very topic. Hell, 5 minutes after the Greatest regular season achievement EVER, this very topic was posted on this board.
What is it about New England fans that we feel compelled to see the glass as half-empty? Why cant' we Celebrate & Relish in the Glory of last night's incredible achievement without focusing on "Why we're concerned"? I honestly find this both sickening and sad. God knows we have plenty of time to talk about our concerns, but we are just FANS! We are supposed to cheer & congratulate our team on their perfect regular season. Yet I see a fan base that is reluctant and for the life of me, I don't know why.
We are NOT players, so it is NOT bad luck to give our team a well deserved 48 hours of pure celebration & congratulatory praise. There is NOTHING bad that can happen as a result of FANS losing focus. As a matter of fact, the thought we need to keep our focus as fans is utterly STUPID.
As fans, we do NOT need to keep it "One game at a time", nor do we need to accept "on any given sunday" BS. We can actually assume or believe we will be world champions and there is nothing wrong with that.
To those who are concerned & worried and not uphoric over last night's achievement....
SHAME ON YOU!
Being incapable of finding any sort of joy is just plain sad.
stats are the nectar of the self described "genius party" faction here...they see negatives in every single aspect of the Patriots 53 man roster. Brady is zeroed in on Moss. Maroney has terrible numbers therefore he's horrible. Hobbs can't cover. Watson drops passes, he has to go. Light gives up too many sacks.Kaczur gives up too many sacks. Bruschi's numbers are down therefore he has to go. The Pats scored 50 points in good weather and 60 degrees, then they scored half that in 40 mph winds and freezing rain snow and sleet...obviously they're regressing and this is a MAJOR problem. Moss takes plays off, this will really hurt us in the playoffs.
You got another couple of hours? The Stats Genius Coalition has an almost endless stream of negatives they'd like to cram down your throat...but then you're probably too stupid to understand because you are enjoying victory in the final game of a 16-0 season...and that is NOT ALLOWED per order of the Einstein Council within the Stats Genius Coalition.
If it's any consolation,I feel like you do.
So what do you really think about Hobbs?
