Mark Patinkin: Science could finally take air out of NFL's Deflategate claims

The U.S. Supreme Court, Blecker said, has ruled that judges should overturn "arbitrator" decisions only if there's "fraud," "dishonesty" or obvious "bias." The thinking is to keep private arbitration — like the NFL's — from sucking in the courts. But Blecker worries Brady's current "due process" argument might not show such bias. The far better way, Blecker told me, is for the Players Association to challenge Goodell's appeal by saying the NFL fraudulently charged Brady with a crime that didn't happen, and based the allegation on pseudo-science.

You might remember Robert Blecker from this 60 minutes HBO special.

Isn't today the day that Kessler's response brief to the NFL is due???? Maybe that will cheer us up............

How can the nfl still think this is going to end well for them?

Because they've been listening to Lester Munson's crisp legal analysis and advice.
