One thing that I have noticed over the years is that the leagues best pass rushers look for advantages outside of their talent. They want to give offensive lineman very little to grab on to. Justin Tuck even went so far as to change the design of his facemask multiple times to ensure that offensive lineman couldn't grab at that either
another thing I've noticed is that the shoulder pads on some of the best pass rushers are small. their shoulder pads don't hang off the outside of their shoulders, making it difficult for Olineman to hold them on the outside of their shoulder pads.
Chandler had a little "Hang Time" on the outside his shoulder pads in that thursday night game. he was held a few times also.
My question is, do you think chandler should wear smaller pads during the season?
It might be a small advantage but it's an advantage nonetheless.
