Same here. He looked like a guy whose knees had taken a beating and had a bad back. It took him a few games to get back into football shape, and he’s still not anywhere near what he once was, but he’s looked better in the past four games than he did throughout 2018 (with the exception of Week 1 that year).
He is generally in a better situation. With Evans, Goodwin, Brown and him he will get a lot more opportunities against lesser coverage in both ability and number. Add in that he is a much safer outlet for Brady against the blitz because the two of them are actually on the same page.
The times where he was the #1 thing to take away are mostly over. Good for him.
