It's easy, and only takes a few moments. The funniest part of all this is that he thinks the world needs his permission to take away GOAT status and give it to Brady. People are only asking him because they're curious if he'll finally recognize it, not because they're seeking permission. Makes him look stupid.

I think Brady is the best of all time. But I bet the people trashing Montana the most never saw him play - or at least during his greatest years. Someone said Montana was trying to stay relevant - he is a 4-time SB champ, 3-time SB MVP and will always be relevant. He also played against some of the meanest, greatest defenses of all-time - the Giants and the Bears to name 2. I did see Montana play and he was an awesome QB.
My father worked for a major corporation around 20 years ago. The company had a relationship with Joe Montana that paid Joe Montana and his father significant money. Initially everybody was excited about having Joe on board. Turns out, the Montanas are not what they seem. I can't go into details, but let's just say that they are greedy, manipulative and not good people.
I am not surprised that Joe wouldn't answer the question.

Some people just can't accept when they've been surpassed.
FWIW, if the day ever comes that someone surpasses Brady in both rings and MVPs, I'd bet he'll be the first to acknowledge that they're the GOAT.
You sound like you've watched Montana play. So tell me, was it easy to tell Jerry Rice was using stickum to catch the balls?

TB12 considers Montana his mentor, always complimenting him. Why can't Joe do the same? Look at what he said here:
Such excuse-making on Joe's part. TB has surpassed him by a country mile and he feels his legacy has been "intruded" or "infringed". Definition of butt-hurt.
