Our fan base sucks. Any fan base that cheers the scoreboard of a Red Sox game more than the plays going on right in front of them to the point that players on the field even mention it after the game...well that fanbase sucks.
Gillette stadium is like a morgue. I'm sure this argument will never end but there's no doubt in my mind it's not the same as 2003/2004.

Yep, I think that's exactly it... the Patriots were forth string in the area when I started following them. If they had better support through the years, they probably would still be named the Boston Patriots.
the pats blow the red sox in ratings every year , but the media and the whiny sox fans can only comeback with there are fewer games, you can always turn that around and say can you imagine the excitement and fevor if the pats played 162 games a year, football is the #1 sport in the country and hereNot true! The baseball team rules Boston, but the Patriots are the regional favorite.
