Analysing a draft 6 months after it happened then after 5 years is a completely different thing.

Wow. For Vollmer to have a 1300-yard, 110-catch season next year will take a major overhaul of the playbook. But I could see a tight end heavy alignment with Gronk, Ballard, Hernandez and Vollmer as a tackle-eligible. Let the road-grading begin!

I thought he was a great draft pick when they selected him out of the University of Houston as a Tackle. If he can play 85% to 90% of the snaps next season at his usual position, this will be a great signing. If he can tack on 1300 hundred yards and lead the league in receiving that would be icing on the cake!

Gee whiz. Welker is gone. Let's move on, shall we? Vollmer's deal has nothing whatsoever to do with Welker. At the very least, let's not fill up every signing thread with Welker.
