One word: why

One word: why

The Patriots originally stood to lose around twenty players after the

2009 season to free agerncy. They have whittled that number down by

extending LeVoir, Kaczur, Aiken, Banta-Cain, and Alexander. They also

promoted Arrington and Stanbeck from the practice squad and signed them

to two year contracts. These are minor players in the scheme of things

but they don't amount to much of an investment dollarwise.

Again, the contracts they gave to Arrington and Stanback are nearly meaningless. Even if they got 1-year deals, they would have been back by default anyway under an ERFA deal.

i don't know about anyone else but alexander is just lucky mckenzie and crable are on IR

Why is this guy still on the team? This is an area where Pats HAVE to upgrade in the draft is another ILB (Spikes) and a real edge rusher and not one we traded for and still waiting to show up.
