I think Bosa is HIGHLY overrated so I'm believing this rumor to be true. As for Braxton Miller...
If Kiper says it about NE, then it's probably wrong.

Also, don't overvalue college production.. it is essentially meaningless. What you are looking for are measurables and traits.
I agree. I think an excellent interior guy is overall more disruptive than an excellent outside pass rusher.
Speaking in generalities, maybe. But if you get a chance to draft a rare specimen like Von Miller or Julius Peppers, you really need to do it.
I couldn't agree less.
Not looking good for Jaylon Smith.

College production is totally meaningless when used as a predictor. It's not because someone has had success in college that he will be a good nfl player but because he has physical and mental traits that put him into position to be successful in college which also translate well into the NFL. Just look at the list of Heismann winners vs. their productivity as a pro.
Been looking at tape for Charone Peake. Not sure why most reports have him as a 6th rounder? He's had injury and consistency issues, but he's big, fast, strong, soft hands, good blocker, smart, efficient route runner and catches everything thrown his way. I think he's suffered a bit from being behind Sammy Watkins and DeAndre Hopkins. I know I'm no Manx/OTG/Midwest when it comes to evaluating talent but I likes what I likes. If he's still there at 6th round I'd definitely pick him.
I'll take a WR, for example, who has a pair of 1000 yard seasons in the SEC, than a guy who is 6'3" and can run a 4.45 in the combine. I'll take the hypothetical lineman from Duke who doesn't give up a quarterback pressure against that schedule over the one who did, but can broad jump 9 feet and vertical jump 3.
So in other words.. Jarvis Jones over Jamie Collins.
Very good point you make, but you could also easily say Rob Ninkovich over Vernon Gholston.
Examples can be made in both directions. What it means is that you can't just look at a box score and you can't just go by combine results. You have to watch the tape and see how that player got to those numbers and if you see traits that translate to the NFL. It is not a perfect science but looking at things from just one point of view rather than multiple ones is going to end in failure more often than not.So in other words.. Jarvis Jones over Jamie Collins.
Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche needed to nail his team interviews at the combine to quiet doubts about his off-field past. One team official I spoke to this week, who was in the room for Nkemdiche's interview, called it "the worst I've ever seen."
— It's a big offseason for the Indianapolis Colts, and I heard from a team source that they like Baylor nose tackle Andrew Billings a lot in Round 1.
Don't rule out a quarterback in this draft for the Buffalo Bills. While Tyrod Taylor made it to the Pro Bowl, some scouts inside the organization believe he's limited as a long-term starter.
