Ebner, awesome.

These preseason games are a bit of a chore to watch though.

May I suggest we put Cannon in at QB in the 2nd half as punishment?

That dude had a rugby ball in his hand and ran like it! :rocker:

Anyone bored in the second half can go to Jets Insider and watch Rah!Rah! convince others and himself that other than the first two series the Eagles played mostly back ups in the first half.

Very entertaining 1st half. Only negative is the Chung injury- hope it's not more than a stinger.

Watching the replay shows Ebner made a pretty nice play. Nice read of the QB

Ebner is on the 53, it's a lock!

He manages to be both stupid and deluded at the same time, it makes for some fun reading at times, most of the time is just WTF?! though.

Cannon? More like a pop gun

Soft. Dump him now please.

Nate Ebner can play safety in the NFL

Marcus Cannon can't play tackle in the NFL, unless you want all the New England Patriots quarterbacks to end up in intensive care.

Ebner played 3 defensive plays in college. Between practice and the game, he's had 5 interceptions THIS WEEK

Talk about being blinded by hate. Geezus. Other than Foles, who's he talking about???:bricks:

That guy is an idiot. McCoy pass 2 seconds before the int? Or dirty hit by D Jackson on the int return?

A few comments on the first half

- Reid cannot be happy that his starters are tied against the Pats scrubs. Especially considering their only scores came after Pat TO's deep in Pat territory
- Edelman played the first two series then sat the rest of the half. I'd say he's in the lead for the 3rd receiver spot. Both Branch and Stallworth played the whole half
- Cunningham started and played the first few series then sat. He looked good while out there
- Brace was impressive in his few plays. I didn't see much of him in the 2nd quarter
- Mallet played well considering the OL
- Hoyer on the other hand not as impressive. Maybe because he was with 3rd string skill players against Eagle starters
- Need we say anything about the OL
- Defense was excellent considering it was mostly 3rd/2nd stringers in the 2nd quarter
- Ebner just made the team, starting lineup, pro bowl, HOF, etc, etc

Please dump Cannon now. Ship him to Rex. He needs a right tackle. Chung just isn't going to last for anywhere near 16 games, let alone the postseason in the NFL.

Put in Kyle Hix!!

Oh, wait, we just cut him.

I'm not ready to come to a definite conclusion on either of those just yet.

Koppen's gone.
