Bo Nix Injury Recovery complications

Huh. I thought this was ankle surgery... I know scars can take on some interesting appearances, but this looks like a lot more surface area than just an ankle fracture surgery.

I say this with no surgical knowledge at all, just my thought.

2nd surgery on that ankle, 3rd break

either he had some serious bone degredation requiring lots of hardware, or he had post-surgery infection that needed to be dealt with

I thought of Alex Smith when I saw that thing.

Folks taking that photo seriously might want to consider the source:

Guys got a History of ankle injuries I don't see how he's the same player coming off this most recent one..even the best of athletes are never the same afterwards. He'll have a hard time getting away from Jacas when we see him this season!

Pretty sure thats a photo of Alex Smith's leg (not Bo Nix's). It was after that awful tibia/fibula fracture in 2018, he got sepsis and necrotising fascitis and was close to having it amputated. Had 17 operations in the end. Truly amazing he played on that in 2020.
Ah…if that’s true; thank you.
