Maybe not pats related any more but diggs ended up not guilty

This doesn't mean he didn't do, but it was pretty obvious from day 1 that this chef didn't have a case.
Watching the trial, I am convinced he didn't do it. This wasn't a "gee we don't really know what happened so we have to presume innocence." The prosecution had no case whatsoever. The alleged victim was argumentative, belligerent and a proven liar.

Reading the accounts of the trial, it was a pitifully weak case. But what I found most interesting is that Diggs had a chief of staff.

She was smart, in contrast to the "victim" who didn't even know whether or not Diggs gets tackled in a typical football game.

But what I found most interesting is that Diggs had a chief of staff.

That's what you need to have to keep three ladies pregnant at the same time.

Jury took 90 minutes to reach the verdict.

Rewatching the Tampa Bay game and the Wild Card playoff game, I was impressed by the quality of the catches Diggs made. (Lots of other good things from those games, too, like how valuable Gibbens and Chaisson were.)

I'd be much more in favor of bringing Diggs back than going out on a limb with Brown. The Pats have shown they get good players with top draft picks; not something to trade away lightly. Also, Diggs has proven rapport with both the quarterback and the WR room. Good guy to have around.

X: Brown
Z: Doubs
Slot: Diggs

Heck yeah
plus Hollins and Williams

a transformation from a poor WR group to a very good one in only two-offseasons!

The likelihood they will both trade for Brown and re-sign Diggs is . . . not high.
Diggs would want more than we are likely to want to pay him.

Is this the same Diggs that everyone trashed after the SB loss saying he cannot get separation anymore and could not beat man coverage. Now everyone wants him.

That’s how it works here.

But as the primary option, Diggs isn’t that guy anymore. He struggled for every yard this season and was showing signs of slowing down prior to his injury. This was one of the two obvious reasons the Pats didn’t want to pick up the tab.

If the Pats trade for Brown, I don’t see how Diggs would take that much of pay cut to be in NE. His ego is probably saying he is a #1 or #2 at worst. But he would be more effective as the 3rd option on an efficient offensive team.

Rams would be good spot for him to ring chase and have the Antonio Brown role in Tampa Bay - catch some crucial 3rd down passes and have the rest of the team carry the load.

She filed charges 2 weeks after the "incident." That's why I wasn't inclined to believe her story.

Well yes that exactly what means legally. But you just want to hate
Stop it, I don't "hate" Diggs you simpleton, just saying being found "Not Guilty" doesn't mean that he didn't do anything.
Doesn't mean he did either, but his lawyer was pretty good either way.
