I would like to know why we had to include Kevin Faulk in the offense as much as we did? It seems clear that the Patriots were out coached today both by the Steelers and themselves.
Why did the post game thread start on Oct 24th

I know you're being sarcastic but why would Carolina accept that trade?
Please Mods, don't move this thread, can we discuss this?
32nd ranked defense in the league, there is a big problem.
Personnel is the issue. Guyton and Ihedigbo starting, Molden getting lots of PT, those guys don't belong outside of special teams and occasional reps at defense.
The Merriweather, Crable, Wheatley, Wilhite, Butler, Cunningham, Brace picks should all be solid contributors for our defense right now.
It also shows that the D didn't force a punt until late in the 4th quarter. There's plenty of blame to go around today, but at least we know that the offense typically can produce. On the basis of that, I don't think it's unreasonable to give them a bit of a pass. They can't play their best game every week.
Yeah. A lot of people on here aren't getting this point.
The Steelers probably averaged 50+ yards per drive. That's ridiculous. Sure, the defense played well in the red-zone, but they couldn't stop anything before then.

Is the patriots offense overrated. That brady long incomplete pass to price is why rodgers is better than brady. Brady doesn't throw well on the run, Price was open and a more mobile qb completes that pass. I'm more worried about the offense than defense.
Interesting, I thought he was one of the better performers on offense today. He is a good blocker back there.
I'm not going to deny that Faulk had a decent performance on his return but the running game did nothing to help the passing game today either by design or personnel.Interesting, I thought he was one of the better performers on offense today. He is a good blocker back there.
So after merging a crap load of nonsense threads, I can now give some thoughts on the game.
1. This one is on the offense for not controlling the ball and putting the defense out there much longer than they needed to be.
2. The onside kick in that situation was dumb. Even if it had worked to perfection, it was dumb to do at that time. All those time outs left plus the 2 minute warning. Kick it deep and get a stop would have been the correct thing to do.
3. We are going to the Super Bowl. We lose to Pitt at Pitt in the regular season and then beat them in the playoffs (AFCCG). It's not like that never happened before.
