It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Since the win over Jacksonville in the 07 Division playoffs, Brady's playoff passer ratings: 66.4, 82.5, 49.1, 89.0, 137.6 (Tebow game), 57.5, 91.1, 115.0, 62.3, 78.4, 93.9 today.
Not a picture of consistency for sure.
Only in New England are the fans complaining that their QB took them to the playoffs 8 times in 8 seasons, the AFC championship 5 times, and the SB twice.
Yeah, I can't wait to replace this guy and we can finally get over the hump.
I think everyone appreciates Brady. EVERYONE that truly supports this team.
But, yeah, the fact is TB has had some mediocre performances in big games...

he plays like he's overly obsessed with his legacy and that 4th championship and psyches himself out in the process.
No, they really don't. These are the bandwagon fans that not only take for granted going to the playoff every year, usually deep into the playoffs, but also coming up huge and winning the Superbowl every year.
How about Peyton's playoff performances, how about Andrew Luck's 4 interceptions? Romo's playoff performances? Philip Rivers? Hell, Roethlisberger had a horrible game in the Super Bowl but won.
The reason Brady has so many less than fantastic performances in big playoff games is because he brings good, bad and horrible teams there while other QBs fold.
Peyton's had more bad performances, interceptions etc. than anyone, but he keeps at it and he and his team had all the answers today.
If you think thee's some secret to going over playoff losses and thinking you'll find a better quarterback and team, good luck. You'll be in charles Barkley land soon enough.
He made a couple bad throws, the running game and play action went nowhere and there wasn't much more they could do with two slot receivers.
The whole team except Wilfork got turned over from 2004 and the team till made a playoff run every year. They've got the second youngest team in the league and horrific injuries.
Maybe y'all will have the pleasure of routing for a talented team that packs it in for the salary run around mid season. There's plenty out there. then you want have to worry about playoffs.
SO, should we be content with TB playing coinsistent football until a championship game and then be happy we got there when he plays bad???
I don't get it,
Brady played bad. The game-plan was suspect. We lacked talent to compensate. Everyone is accountable.
I guess we should be happy we got thumped in a championship game two years in a row....because at least we got there.
I guess.
So point out the alternative genius..
who is saying that? Lets be real. His AFC champ game performances have been poor and have cost us.
Football is a team game. Most Pats fans seemed to be really happy about this season up until 3 PM today, especially considering the number of injuries and/or arrest warrants affecting key players.
Now it's a few hours later and "Brady sunk us". Not the O-line, or the 3rd-down defense after Talib went down, or the RBs, or the coaching. The really awesome season that led up to this point has been completely forgotten because "Brady didn't get it done".
I just don't live in that world. The Pats got as far as they could, maybe further than they should have considering the circumstances. If they all played better, maybe they could have won, but they didn't. Meanwhile, 28 other teams were watching at home with the rest of us. Twenty-eight.
I enjoyed the journey. Hopefully I'm not alone.
The alternative is to show up and play.
Correct???
brady didnt play well but he didnt give up 3rd down after 3rd down and 2nd and 20 conversions. The pats played the same nickel defense and manning was still finding WRs open in the field with zero pressure on him. The injuries and difference in talent and lack of playmakers caught up with them today.
Something is failing here. BB picks the players. BB coaches the players. Brady is the Qb. The Patriots have not won a Superbowl in 10 years ! Since their last Superbowl win the Red Sox have won 3 World Series Championships, not to mention both the Bruins, and Celtics World Championships.
Boston is title town. We measure success by World Championships. The Patriots have failed for a decade now. Do we stick to the same formula for year 11 next year, crying about referees and injuries at seasons end once again?
Will Brady be better at age 37 next year? Is that the plan?
Well it appears many people can't judge Brady and his surrounding cast any differently, so assuming they aren't hit hard by injuries again, then the offense as a whole will look better and most people will think more of Brady because of it, even if Brady himself plays the same. Will Brady be better at age 37 next year? Is that the plan?
