Ian Rapoport: Bill Belichick's fate not yet decided, how rest of season goes will determine direction

First you need a QB with the skills to succeed. Like quick thinking and an arm that defenses fear.

Mahomes made perfect downfield throws yesterday.

Thats where Mickey D comes in.

The last time NE made the post season it was with Mickey D at OC.

BB stays and Mickey D comes back.
Not given BB's record of grocery shopping to surround the QB position.

8-9 and then 3-10 and counting is a "solid team"?

Getting 2 failed head coaches who know nothing about offense to run your offense and develop your young QB is not the QB's problem. That's on the HC and only the HC.
"failed head coaches" often make the best coordinators.

While BB shares some blame for the result, part of Patricia's problem was Mac, not v.v.

Part of Patricia problem is he never had anything to do with offense before and was learning on the fly.

Why play pretend when so many in the media/players say he was running a pop warner program with no adjustments what so ever

Now, I don't blame him. That's on Bill for putting him in that situation to begin with.

Id feel the same if Bill hired McDaniels next year to be his defensive coordinator.

The Boston media is looking pretty bad right now. First Volin started the fire in the off-season, only to have Curran cowardly show up as he usually does to “confirm” that “Bill has been on the hot seat for years”. Then we have the “fate has been decided” from Curran to what we have today. Only Bob, Jon and Bill know what’s going on.

Not his children?
