PostGame Thread OFFICIAL Post Game Thread - Patriots Fall to Chiefs 27-17

Immediate Postgame Reactions
Twitter is blowing up with how bad the Patriots got ****ing screwed by blatant referee-ball, but of course the Mac Jone shills “true fans of the laundry” didn’t see anything. So transparent and predictable it’s ****ing sad.
Thank the gods that X isn't real life.

No the move far too late of Owenu to RT helped turn the the oline to a complete crapshow to just so-so. Since the move, he has probably been the Pats’ best lineman. My point is his move was a last ditch desperation move. Belichick had no intention of moving him to tackle.

And what has Zappe done that says he would be better than Wentz? Wentz isn’t great, but better than Zappe.
Onwenu was injured in the early games. He's been at RT for a very long time now, since the 6th game. The O-line was crap because we had 3 guys hurt at the same time and we were playing rookies new to the league.

Wentz hasn't played a down this year. He signed late, became bummed that Washington chose Sam Howell over him. He has done less than nothing since forever. There's no point.

Your 4th rounder is ticketed to be your backup. That's why you draft him there.

Did second-rounder BoneyT play? The Chiefs have a second-rounder WR from SMU who seemed to contribute.

Rob needs his ******** narrative about being uncompetitive to be true to throw a smoke screen about his shilling for Mac Jones all year, conveniently ignoring how hard we got refballed today.

They scored because of this 3rd & long with a guy literally hanging on an incoming sack:

This ******** call negated a HUGE turn over:

Here’s a blatant offensive pass interference the refs decided to pretend they didn’t see:

One of the most egregious refball games I’ve ever seen.

You forgot the Mahomes grounding call that was offset by a ridiculous illegal contact call on Jonathan Jones, when the defender literally committee OPI against Jones.

1: Well, zappe is a nice, capable nfl back up, but he’s not a starter.

2: what’s up with the 4th down management in the second half? Punt punt punt and then go for it inside their own 20? #tank
I'm not sure why this has become a thing, but they scored a TD after the first punt on 4th, when they were down by 17. They pinned the Chiefs, got a turnover. Scored a TD.

Then they got pinned, there were 3 minutes left, down 2 scores. They HAD to go for it.

Total REFBALL criminality and the Mac Jones ballwasher ****-takes are all here pretending none of it happened so they can pretend it was the team all along and not just their pathetically bad QB takes.

So ****ing transparent it hurts.

Put the bottle down. You've had enough today.

We get it. You’re shilling for referees handing Mahomes wins against us so your previous shilling of Mac Jones doesn’t sound as stupid as it was, because you’re a “true fan of the laundry.”

Bedard just said on post game that he thinks Bill, the alleged greatest of all time, was "quietly tanking", in the second half. said he can think of no other reason for the super conservative play calling and lack of urgency, which yours truly thoroughly called out in the GDT.
The unhappy offshoot of this is, why would Bill the buffoon be tagging if he's not planning on coming back next season?
Yes he is definitely quietly tanking. If so the only reason would be if he thinks he is coming back next year

Meh, defense still playing well with the offense just being it’s usual inept self putting them on burner. Keep hustling, the season will be over soon and hopefully they can add some offensive playmakers in the offseason to turn it around. Top 3 pick, 105 million in cap space. It’ll be like Christmas.

And his team was up 17 points at the time.

The pick wasn't even his fault. The defender just muscled it out of his receivers hands.

Just admit you’re not even a Patriots fan. You’re a Mac Jones ball washer, Mahomes ball washer well-poisoner lol.

There’s a ton of egregious screwings by the referees in this game you’re willing to ignore but you want to give Mahomes a back rub over his interceptions not being his fault.

This is genuinely pathetic and it takes a low double digit IQ to not see it.

QB in the top 3, but don't get your hopes up on WR. They need an LT and will likely need to trade up for one or use the 2nd rder.

All the top WRs will be gone.

Tee Higgins is the top receiver on the market BUT he has been dropping the ball a lot lately

There are no good LTs available in the FA market
