This thread is so frustrating.... I mean how can anyone say ANYTHING other than the GOAT Mike Bishop. Did you not seem him dominate in NFL Europe? These Patriots "fans" need to learn about their team.
I remember watching an NFLE game where Davey's team (I believe it was the Berlin Thunder) was playing and some guys in the stands were holding up a sign that said "WHO NEEDS BRADY? WE HAVE DAVEY!"
1) The only reason I remember Secules was he was the backup QB for the Pats on my Tecmo Super Bowl game on the Super NES. (The starter was Zolak.) Otherwise I don't think I've even seen him on a football card from that era.
2) No offense about Plunkett, I was doing this in a hurry this morning and just kinda grabbed every QB I could remember that wasn't all that successful during his time in NE.
Anyway, I love y'all. I did this a few years ago with a list of head coaches (with no Belichick, Parcells, Raymond Barry, Chuck Fairbanks or even Mike Holovak.) This time everyone caught on a lot quicker.
April Fool's has a special meaning to me as my grandfather, who was a real wiseacre (and probably where I got my own smarta** attitude from) was born on April 1, 1914.
He had a great record after stepping in for the fragile sixth rounder that usurped Bledsoe's rightful starting job - what starting QB ever lost his job due to injury anyway? And to a flash in the pan late round draft pick? Thank goodness he wasn't on that list!
Perfect April Fool's joke for this beloved Fan Base!!
TrueBeliever is a Joker. Wait a minute ..... that can't be right
We already have one of those ... Hmmmm
As for obscure "best" Pats qbs.....im going with Jim Murphy...had a couple camps in late 90s, but more importantly he sat a few seats over from me in US History to 1877 at Northeastern in 95 or 96! Lol.... Guy dominated the Yankee Conference
