The 2013 season: The Jets suck (as usual)

We had various dolphins chants heard on TV in the 2nd half, but we had plenty of "J-E-T-S Suck Suck Suck" chants going throughout their own stadium (well, Giants stadium) that couldn't be heard...but they were there! There were just a bunch of long faces on Jets fans, didn't hear much from them except in the 2nd half except for some "*****holes" chants.

They gave a nice roar when Matt Simms entered the game. Its amazing how quickly that died out into more boos and then a mass exit.

And look who came to the game, possibly for the first time since Buttfumble: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/laces-out/did-fireman-ed-make-an-appearance-at-the-jets-game-120113
He picked quite the game! I wonder if this put the nail in his fandom?

By the way, did anybody take a look at the "highlights" reel NFL.com put together in honor of Geno's performance on Sunday? It's must-see (Internet) TV! :D

NFL Passer Rtg quirk: If Nick Foles threw 50 straight INT, he'd still have higher NFL Passer Rtg than Geno Smith -- H/T to @RoobCSN

LOL, so funny

Adding to the comedy, the Jets are 3 point favorites this week.

Are you sure they didn't say they're only expected to score 3 pts?........again:D

Marcus Mariota is returning to school. He was the #2 QB and a top 5 pick.

That's one less QB for the Jets in this draft. 5 games is already too many won for Teddy Bridgewater or the Clowney lottery. Here's their 2014 QB situation:

1. Start Geno
2. Start Sanchez
3. Draft Derek Carr's brother, draft AJ McCarron, or trade up for Manziel
4. Trade/Sign Schaub or some other stiff.

The Jets are so screwed for 2014 at QB. Go JEST!

"MIKE!!!!"...Vick would make a fine successor to the legacy of the "Little Gunslinger" Brayette Farver...the OG OG OG morons would go beserk claiming certain greatness, eliteness and unlimited ceilings, Mike would run of five or six wins at the start and then get crushed by a paper plane in the wind in November , go on IR and the Rats lose out...again...for 45 STRAIGHT YEARS...it's destiny

The Jets will draft another d-lineman because that appears to be the only position they can draft worth a damn in recent years and even that has been spotty. For every Wilkerson, Richardson, and Harrison (undrafted) there is a Gholston, Coples, and Kendrick Ellis.

Cutler in NYC...I'd become an undercover Jet fan just to watch THAT catastrophe in person.

Yes, indeed, if you want to cut down on bad throws, stupid interceptions and untimely choking, Jay Cutler is definitely the way to go.....

at least they would be able to pick up Brandon Marshall after he throws a hissy fit over the trading/cutting of cutler. Cant be any worse then santonio holmes.

As bad a QB as Mark Sanchez is, he's made it to the AFCCG more times than Jay Cutler has made the playoffs.

I think Jets fans are expecting them to build this super roster this offseason with them freeing up cap space, but who are they going to get? The free agent market isn't what it used to be and almost everyone worth getting will be franchised or re-signed. They will likely overpay again for middle of the road talent like Calvin Pace and Bart Scott.

I'm still waiting for that easy as "cake" schedule that the Jets play over the second half of the season as some posters here claimed, that would definitely allow them to hold their then 6th seed spot.

To date, they haven't won a game since...and still have OAK, @ CAR, CLE, and @ MIA to close their last 4 games. I saw 7-8 wins at best, and that still looks probable right now; possibly in a best case scenario for them. The more likely scenario would see them only winning 6 or 7 games in total.

The "genius" of Geee-No! Smith...I mean, really????????????
