Not to derail the thread, but in my experience those policies would not cover "cancelled event" and are more for things like severe illness or injury...at least at $20/day. I'm sure for more $, a cancelled football game could be covered.Brother, that's why I always buy trip insurance. Got burned once like that, and learned that the $20/day or so was an excellent investment.
Except they all would have been shot at the borderFree healthcare and citizenship for all fans south of border.
Too bad they werent here last week, they could have voted.
a welcome that should make them feel right at home!Except they all would have been shot at the border
Now if only they'd take that kind of stand when it comes to the next CBA. Nope. they'll fold like they always do...I’d love to see the players take a stand and not play. Was very surprised the games that were played in California this weekend and last night with the air quality rated unhealthy.
Game needs to be moved back to LA where it’s supposed to be.
Whoever negotiated for them on the last CBA should be fired. Look for the Franchise Tag to be eliminated in the next CBA.Now if only they'd take that kind of stand when it comes to the next CBA. Nope. they'll fold like they always do...

It should be cleared up by then."I can't believe they held that game in LA last night due to the unhealthy air quality."
"But anyways... they should play this game in LA."

Players should definitely push for it and I’m for it as well. Once your contract is up, teams should not be able to force you to stay with them. I think the elimination of the Franchise Tag would be good for the NFL as more star players would sign with other teams. Not happening, the owners would take a fight for the tag to the wall and with it impacting so few players it's just not the hill the union will choose to die on.

Yes.I liked to start this reply by stating that I live in Australia and am by no means an expert in American geography....but...isn’t LA in California?
It’ll never happen. The union would have to make a major concession to get rid of the franchise tag and I don’t see 1,600 players making a huge concession to get rid of something that impacts what? 6 guys a year?Whoever negotiated for them on the last CBA should be fired. It used to be but now it, along with much of Southern California, has been annexed by Mexico.I liked to start this reply by stating that I live in Australia and am by no means an expert in American geography....but...isn’t LA in California?
Good one. It’s sure looks like it’s going on that direction. It used to be but now it, along with much of Southern California, has been annexed by Mexico.
