Looks very fast and very smooth....Hope he plays on Sat.. Heard he was wicked strong for his size. Did a ton of reps on the bench press at the combine.

I thought Vereen caught the ball fairly well and was not afraid to block. He should excel in our offense, the only problem is he duplicates a lot of what Woodhead brings to the table.

There is nothing wrong with duplicating great all around production.

Ridley as a bruiser is what people assumed- doesn't mean that that's what the Pats saw in him. The Pats probably saw him for exactly what he's been so far, if I had to guess. Which makes me all the more excited to see what they saw in Vereen.

I see Vereen as a RB that can also play WR very well, and hope the Pats use him like the Rams used Marshall Faulk, a dual threat matchup nightmare. This is also why I want us to get Tebow, a TE that can also block and run the ball would also create a lot of scheming problems for opposing defenses.

He's a lot bigger than Woody. 5'10, 210 v 5'7, 195. He ran the ball effectively between the tackles in college.

He looks small-he runs low and is a compact guy-but he really isn't. 5-10, 210 is the same as guys like Terrell Davis (5'11, 210), Faulk (5'10, 210), and Curtis Martin (5'11, 210).
