My pick would be Wendell......
There are no "starters" yet.
It is March.

BTW, this thread goes to the Practice Squad due to "Subject Incompetency".
Next time, try something like, "Which position most needs an upgrade now through free agency or the draft?" and then make a case with specifics why you think so.
The Pats are solid all over the field, as any conference finalist will be, so in this case, even the weaker players are 1) elite football players, and 2) valuable on some team with glaring weaknesses.

Spend some time navigating this site and use data - it can be manipulated to make any point you want, especially if you are wrestling with some of the frequent posters. They like data to chew on as they think about the Patriots or other teams.
Also, use the salary cap information from Miguel Benzan - the Boston media rely on his hard work more than any league sources because it's impeccable and easy to understand: Miguel's UNOFFICIAL 2014 Patriots Salary Cap Information Page
Salary cap information changes everything. On the next chart are the top 25 cap hits in the NFL. These guys are great players, but is every one of them worth the sacrifices their teams have to make at other positions? 2014 NFL Top Cap Hit Salaries
