I love moss and i loved the combination of brady, moss, and welker, but the looking at the trade now seems kinda unneeded.
Welker was the perfect replacement for branch, but i think without moss the pats would have a similar offense they do now. It would be more diverse without moss, who's only great when he wants to and is always double covered.
I guess you can't look back lol
lol I still wake up in the middle of the night in a deep sweat thinking Caldwell is still on this football team.
..:ban?:..
umm, Reche Caldwell. Why did the pats even aquire Randy Moss?
Trust me i did, but this type of team is better imo./
oh Come on lol
mY POINT IS WHEN THEY TRADED FOR MOSS, the whole teams gameplan and philosophy change from a balance team to a deep ball offense
Here is the real reason why the Patriots traded for Moss:
Back in 2007 BB was going over the draft prospects and realized it was unlikely anyone available in the fourth round that was worth taking in the 4th, so he started trying to trade the pick for a 2008 3rd round pick. He got no takers. He then tried to trade if for a 2009 3rd round pick. He still got no takers. And trading it for a 2010 3rd pick was equally unsuccessful. So he said "what eff?" "I will just traded it Oakland for that bum Randy and then trade Randy for a 3rd 2011 pick." And hence he made the trade.
