And most of the internet tough guys who criticize that kind of player are raging hypocrites because they'd never make the analogous sacrifices and lower pay to be a "true winner" in their own work lives.
I do think many people would and do sacrifice money to work at a company that didn't suck. And whether it makes me an internet tough guy or not, if he chose New York over New England solely over a few million in a vacuum, then I will question his judgement. Yet, it just seems like the guy wanted to be in NYC. I can respect that.
However, arbitrarily valuing money that - beyond a point which Revis has passed - has diminishing utility is silly. Not only do you have diminishing utility, you have the fact that cost of living in New York City is higher. It sounds like either he just wanted to be there, or he has people influencing him who don't care.
