Next 6 games.

Buffalo (h) and Miami (a) sandwiched in between 4 bad teams; NO, LV, Wash, Indy.

With winnable games with LA, Giants, jets, Pitt, Denver still to go, there is a lot of season left.

4 or 5 wins in those 6 games sets them up in decent shape to finish strong.
There is at least 5 more losses.

Hilarious that you call teams bad when the Pats have 1 win and the 30th ranked offense.

I’d be for this. If we are 1-4, 1-5, sell off some assets for draft picks and see what the rest of the guys have via self-scouting. This is something we should have done in 2020.
That's what makes the Judon injury even worse is that he's one of the few guys on this team who might be worth something of value in a trade. Had he been healthy you might have gotten a 2nd or 3rd from a contender looking of a boost with the pass rush. Outside of him I don't know who we have (discounting rookies) that would bring anything of value. Uche hasn't done much this year and maybe would generate a mid round pick same with Bourne. This roster just doesn't have much value.

Best case is 3-3 and we're looking at 4-6. This team is absolute garbage and I really want to know what people were thinking when they were talking this team up for an AFC title game berth - complete delusion and blind faith in a coach (and system) who's been an abject failure without #12.

They don’t watch other teams play or are familiar with how the Pats roster stacks up to others. There were no significant changes this off-season, yet posters were saying they expected 10+ wins.

And I still see posters believing this is a good roster and Bill has drafted well. Straight up delusion.

I thought 8 or 9 wins was our ceiling based mostly on Bill being the coach but Bill the GM has not cut my expectations in half. I think 6 wins is our ceiling now and 4 is a real possibility.

I’ll have to find the season prediction thread, but I think I had them at 5-7 wins. They are lucky to be 1-3 as they’d be 0-4 had Rodgers played. This is just not a good team and Coaching staff.

Edit: I predicted 6-8.

Luckily people will still go to the games no matter how bad they are

What the patriots have done is irrelevant to whether those teams are good or bad.

What do you think will happen? Season ticket holders will pay for tickets and not show up and not resell them?
There are many fans that are loyal, and understand there will be bad times. Many are sitting on the season ticket waiting list happy to hear people think like you hoping some are season ticket holders.

I think that in bad weather there may be some open seats. And if the team continues to suck for a period of time, that number could get larger

Then again, I have not paid close attention to such things. I do remember a pats team in that had no so great attendance. In fact I remember a team that almost moved to St Louis. Maybe you are right, and an historic 20 year run gave them carte blanche forever.....

Regardless... if you are 100% confident in telling me that this team, no matter how bad will never suffer attendance losses and on top of that, even if they did, it wouldn't change one damn thing, then I am willing to take your word on it.

Is why I asked the question? Why isn't Douglas playing more. All he does is make plays when given the opportunity. So far juju is apparently hurt he's too good a player to perform the way he is. Parker is washed. KB is the only one who fights. I'm sure he probably wishes he was still in SF right now under Shanahan. Why isn't Boutte involved? All he did was make plays week 1.. is BB still holding him being out of bounds against him. Let's be honest the O line sucks right now. We have no running game whatsoever.. on 3rd and 1 why isn't Montgomery more involved? He's the only change up RB we have on the roster. On Thornton.. the only thing I can hope he provides is someone to carry coverage and stretch the defense. Other than that low expectations IMO.
On Douglas maybe BOB's is a yes man OC other Teams are playing their Rookies who show potential. And we have one who's clearly better than those over priced stiffs we are running out there down after down to do nothing. Parker 45 snaps one play in Garbage time but BB and BOB sees nothing wrong with that.

You know they'll spin it when things go South they are experts at that.

I was at that MNF game last year and there were significantly more Bears fans there than I had ever seen from an opposing fanbase in my 50+ games at Gillette/Foxboro. For the larger fanbases that travel we will see more and more of that and I agree that that week 18 game against the Jets may be half empty.

You would think, but according to some here, that will never happen.

And even if it did for an extended period of time apparently the team wouldn't notice or care...

Yeah, in hindsight...I'd have rolled with Stidham that year...

Then again...we might have drafted Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, and/or Justin Fields......

I'd not even look at the schedule that far ahead. Let's focus on the tough Saints D and whether we have the personnel to slow down Olave, Thomas, and Kamara.

Then why point out incorrectly who is bad?

I know that you dont follow the NFL. Washington is not bad.

Congrats on predicting the injuries to the 4 corners and Judon.

To be very clear, we would be likely to have more than 7 wins with all of them healthy. (and yes, with the normal trades during October). We have already picked up our swing OT.

Sure…because their CB’s and Judon would’ve been the difference. More delusion.

This was a 5-7 win roster fully healthy.

Them are fighting words to the Homers we are SB contenders in their minds.
