Should have kept Malik

Zappe too short.

Chiefs D don't impress Threadstarter 1
It’s not week 5 yet! The Smurf is taking over the NFL in week 5 just watch you’ll see.

Denver has been playing really well as of late despite how they played last night. Denver is going to be a much tougher game than people expected two months ago.
Oh I’m flat out pulling for an L.

If Mcdermott doesn’t pee down his leg, and old man Rogers can make it through the end of the year, 2-15 os legit possible and MAY be enough for the 1 with a little help

Almost feels like #2 is a lock. Denver is the only game I see as a possible win, BUT Pats had a LOT of injuries today.

Need Carolina and AZ to each win one more game and the franchise could really get a nice reset by trading back and acquiring picks.
Problem is they need that pick for a QB badly. They could trade down for assets and take a LT but then who's the QB? There's none worth keeping for 2024 on the roster

Start a new thread.

This time with a poll.

I don’t have confidence that Maye or Williams are truly special, and who’s gonna protect them? Rather have the T, and the extra good picks that would come with it.

Heck, Flacco doesn’t look bad at all. Bridge year at QB.

It's all going according to plan.

This Denver game i think decides the second overall pick.

Lost a bunch of confidence in him today...that pick was brutal and it killed any shot they had. Had high expectations, but today was a big letdown. Another opportunity to seize/prove he might be the guy and he came up well short.

You take the QB.

You keep taking the QB.

You take the QB until you have the QB.

Nothing else matters.

It was a predictable outcome. I had the Chiefs winning 24-17 on the score prediction thread and I was only off by 3 points.

Fact is the Chiefs could have had more than 27 but they decided to take knees at the end instead of run up the score.

The Patriots offense looked decent in the first half but mistakes took away points. In the second half we just weren't good enough. In particular Zappe had another turnover and didn't look close to himself in the 1st half. Maybe the Chiefs just figured him out, who knows.

We are who our record says we are 3-11. That puts us in contention for 1 of the top 2 QB prospects in the draft. We should make the most of it. I don't know if we cut ties with BB in the offseason but we cannot allow him to make any more draft or personnel decisions.

Our offense is just so bad it's not even competitive. Defense tried to put up a fight but in the end couldn't hold back the Chiefs. So there you have it, another week, another loss.

We the fans can only look forward to draft position. The 'upset' wasn't really in the books even though we had the homefield advantage.

Both the Bears and Cards will likely have two high first round picks. The Pats are in a multi-year rebuild with tons of needs. They don’t need to get their franchise QB this year. If they aren’t in love with Williams or Maye, they might be better off get two or three stud players with a trade and then take a flyer on a QB in the second round. There is a lot of talented QBs in this draft. No guarantee that one of the second round wont become a top 10 or even top 5 QB.

If they have significant red flags on Williams and/or Maye, they shouldn’t just take them because you have to draft a QB high.

I’d rather see MHJ to the Pats, with a good FA QB signing and a developmental QB pick. Then build up the OL. Re-sign most of our free agents. I think that would be the foundation of a good team.
