PostGame Thread OFFICIAL Post Game Thread - Patriots Fall to Chiefs 27-17

Immediate Postgame Reactions
This team isn't bad enough to lose to the Jets imo. Not at home.

That Steelers win may be a killer.
There may not be enough uninjured players to field a team by the time we play the Jets. Not at the rate they went down today. This season has been absolutely brutal.

What does it say about JuJu Smith-Schuster that the Chiefs would have rather had Kadarius Toney over him?

Which one of those positions can you find in undrafted free agency?

The OL has historically been something Bill Scar had no problem addressing.

QB.

It's gonna be the QB so you should.get on board now.
FIFY.

OL this year demonstrates the fallacy in your statement.

OL needs to be rebuilt before we ruin another good QB prospect.

Game went about as I expected. Even with the chiefs shooting themselves in the foot alot. Denver I'm more worried about. We should lose but I'm not as confident with an L against them.

People will talk about how "conservative" the Patriots were in the second half, but they threw it 12 times and ran it just eight, (and really seven if you throw out the final run of the game). That turnover changed everything, which prevented them from having time to push it down the field.

Unless Daniels makes a big jump, they can still trade down and get him.
Maybe a small one... if they're in 2nd or 3rd and they have Daniels ranked #1 on their board, they should just take him

All due respect to Chatham, he is a Belichick apologist. it is Belichick’s fault they don’t have a QB. He picked Mac. He decided to not get a veteran QB behind Mac. He decided to cut Zappe in the preseason. He decided not to give a competive offer to Hopkins. He is the one who thought he could just throw whatever garbage in at RT.

Chiefs had the ball for 9:11 in the third quarter, 9:57 in the 4th quarter. Brutal time of possession edge.

The last 1.5 quarters is why BB needs to go. As everyone is now giving BB the benefit of the doubt and blame the QB.
But, BB wouldn't go for it on 4th and short when down 13 in the 3rd qtr. It proves he just doesn't want to lose by 20+ rather than try to win.
The 1950's style conservative game plan is so old.
Now that we're almost certainly getting a top 3 pick, who can actually trust BB to get a franchise changing QB?
Because he won't - 100% BB will not pick a QB. He'll trade down or pick a OT.

That they're broke

They could have afforded the contract the Pats gave JuJu especially when you factor the income tax.
