1) I agree that Marcus Jones wasn't drafted that high as a special teamer.
2) I said that I don't think that he hasn't shown enough to be considered a starter, especially at nickel. He's lost a full year. I stand by that assessment.
3) Marcus Jones has shown some skills, but those have been as an outside corner, as was his skills et in college.

My bottom line is that J Jones is one of the best nickel backs in the NFL, and therefore a starter. I think that we can use an upgrade over Bryant as our 3rd starter. And, personally, I'm not ready to count on M Jones as that 3rd starter.
Perhaps, the team is OK with Bryant as a starter, as he has been all year. Of course, they would need to re-sign him since he is a free agent. Perhaps folks don't think that we need to do better.
