It's easy, and only takes a few moments.A team that only needs a receiver would give way more than a 2nd round pick for Aiyuk. If it’s for #34 give me Aiyuk… I love Deebos game but with his injuries by the time this team is (hopefully) ready to contend I think he’s a cap liability more than an asset
BingoIt's not time for an "alpha", as Josh McD said.
Agreed with this. It all hinges on the QB, whoever we have that is conducive to solid QB play this season and beyond. We do have a solid set of skill position players no arguments there. I just believe it's after witnessing the last few seasons offensively just has folks wanting ALL PRO caliber players.This. A lot of people want this great receiver or we need this amazing all pro receiver. He would be wasted here while they rebuild. You have a good set of guys, but no way you are giving a guy 30 mil a year to touch the ball 6 times a game while lose by 20 points. You build around a Qb and they need that first.
Pape they can Draft them well Aiyuk for #34 I would do it in heartbeat.
I think so too, but you’re certainly not giving up a 3 for himA team that only needs a receiver would give way more than a 2nd round pick for Aiyuk.
Hell no. The problem here is what you have to pay him for Brissett to throw him the ball. Is that even worth it? I would rather build around the Qb, not build around a recevier, and we dont have that Qb yet. The thing is, people kept saying, oh mac has no weapons, he has no line, but that was not the issue. In those circumstances is where you see the great ones rise and the bad ones fall. I dont care about stats or wins, but I want a QB who can stare that in the face and not cry on the bench. We get that, then we can build around him.I think so too, but you’re certainly not giving up a 3 for him
That is also the issue, its the pick, its paying 30 mil for a receiver that will be wasted here for two years. receivers is really the last thing to worry about, they are a dime a dozen.I wouldn’t. If you want a receiver at 34 there are going to be great prospects that will cost a fraction of what Aiyuk will ultimately get.
Cousin, That's a good point. It's chicken and the egg. Do we waste a QB roster spot for three years or do we build the roster? That is also the issue, its the pick, its paying 30 mil for a receiver that will be wasted here for two years. receivers is really the last thing to worry about, they are a dime a dozen.
I look at WR1 as someone whose talents and production place him firmly in the top 20-30 in the league. Basically guys who'd be #1 on the depth chart of more teams than not, aka a WR1. Both Deebo and Aiyuk apply.
Doesn't need to be a top 5 or even top 10 guy.
NYET? You'd have to throw in Thornton with #23 to convince them.Cousins,
Now to get to that lofty position of getting an Aiyuk or a Higgins even, the ransom might be more. What if we took the assumed Vikings trade of pick #11 and pick #23 (plus a Vikes first rounder in 2025), get the best QB at #11 and swap #23 to the Niners? Would they bite?

No persecution here - it's not like he earned himself some monsterously large contract last year. Should be able to get him for 2/12-15 or so. That's pretty good money for a backup, but it's not like we don't have it.Step 9:
Resign Zeke. Why not? He was great in the locker room. He is under 30. He was our best runner and reciever by default in 2024 and mostly best pass blocker. The kids are going to need some of that pass blocking
OK....... persecute me.
