Ageee we can’t afford to not have athletic QBs.Damn, hopefully he returns
Have the highest offer for a athletic RB and a offer on the table for our QB however that comes.I think the plan tomorrow needs to be:
- Have the highest offer for Calvin Ridley
- Have the highest offer for Tyron Smith
After that, let the market take shape a bit and then start making deals for positions with strong markets (like safety, CB, RB), and keep in touch with their own free agents like Onwenu/Bourne while they test their markets. Also, talk to several QBs and see what works best (Brissett top option but see what’s out there).
Wilson is okay. But getting into a bidding war for a player like him is exactly how you stay a Mid franchise.
Kinda surprising. I liked what Mack did last year, but still feel like he’s more of a reserve player.
What starts? He expressed a desire to play for Mayo. Sounds as though they made him a fair offer and he wants to see if he can do better on the open market. Happens all the time. He isn’t gone yet and more likely than not will give them a chance to match another team’s offer.
Those are better than others since it at least includes the reporter. But I agree, vague shots without a credible reporter are something I’d prefer we avoid on here. What starts? PS. Your uncropped screenshot links are still an embarrassment and should prohibited. What say you, @Ian?
He’s much younger than I thought. After Judon went down, Wilson seemed to be all over the field. He’s a guy I hoped NE would resign for affordable $. But with the cap increase, there might not be such a thing.
