Another OL early you heard it hear first.
Patriots will trade one pick out of round 1 for a round 2 pick and something else.
This works well. Good picks.

Like your picks except Staley. But this is your selection and I respect it. An O line pic gets to DNP for two years unless he is many times better than what we have. A waste of a first rounder when there is some depth in our needs for DB and LB. Did anyone here on this thread that is a Staley fan, see the Senior Bowl? Is that the same Staley we are discussing? Yikes!I think the Pats will trade pick #28 for Atlanta's first second rounder (#39), Atlanta's fourth round pick(#109) and a swap of their third round picks, NE gets pick 75 and Atlanta gets #91. Leaving the Pats with pick #'s 24, 39, 75, 109 and 127 in the first four rounds.
24) Joe Staley OT C. Mich
39) Brandon Siler ILB Florida
75) Usama Young CB Kent State
109) John Wendling SS Wyoming
127) Michael Bush RB Louisville or Deshawn Wynn RB Fla. if Bush is gone.
In light of the recent BB interview, anyone here now think the Pats may take advantage of the market and trade both of their #1's for a higher #1 and a 2nd round pick?
#28 to Atlanta for #39 & #75
I don't think Posluszny anymore. Unless they do it. I think Harris and Merriweather, unless it's Beason and Weddle. Unless it's Posluszny. Unless it's a tight end. Or a lineman, defensive or offensive, or of course a cornerback.
You heard it here first.

Random thought: with all the talk about this being a weak draft, wouldn't it make sense to try to move UP this year instead of trade down? I'm thinking package both 1st rounders for a top 10 stud pick, maybe pick up a 3rd round pick as well from the deal, and go from there?
