1: Well, zappe is a nice, capable nfl back up, but he’s not a starter.

2: what’s up with the 4th down management in the second half? Punt punt punt and then go for it inside their own 20? #tank

Worse. They were on their own 6 yard line. I've never seen that with 2 and an half minutes to go.

Thanks, I couldn’t remember where the ball was and was too lazy to look it up.

I’m convinced he’s tanking.

The arm is not there.
You can survive a bad arm, just can't survive bad decision-making. And the fact he's yet to put together a good second half this year is maddening. Which is frustrating because that wasn't an issue in his two full starts in 2022:

It is literally indisputable the Patriots got straight up ****ed by the referees all game long, but the “true fan” Mac Jones ball washers are all here like Sandra Bullock in Bird Box pretending none of it happened so they can call the team hopelessly uncompetitive and not be pitifully wrong about their Jones support all season.

Patriots played the reigning Super Bowl champions* pretty well but there’s nothing you can do against this kind of transparent ref-hosing.

Different year. Different players. Different opponents, etc.

The refs aren't the reason the only reason they lost. The Pats themselves had a lot to do with it.

Giving them a free 3rd & long instead of a probable sack, over turning a huge turnover at a crucial point in the game, ignoring blatant holding basically every Chiefs possession, and allowing blatant offensive pass interference is pretty egregious.

Take all that away and the Patriots probably take the lead instead of fall behind two scores. This was too overwhelming and constant to be blaming ****ty Pats play.

Called straight down the middle, this is very likely a Patriots upset.

Someone said during the press conference that players were "lamenting the tempo" at the end but didn't mention names. It looks like Zeke was one of them:

Bedard just said on post game that he thinks Bill, the alleged greatest of all time, was "quietly tanking", in the second half. said he can think of no other reason for the super conservative play calling and lack of urgency, which yours truly thoroughly called out in the GDT.
The unhappy offshoot of this is, why would Bill the buffoon be tagging if he's not planning on coming back next season?

He's checked out?

Yeah, if it's still not clear to anyone that he's tanking that 4th down play on their own 6 with 2 and a half minutes to go was your sign.

When you said “You don’t agree”, are you saying this was holding?

Are you saying this isn’t pass interference?

Are you saying this wasn’t holding which allowed the Chiefs to score their second touchdown?

Or are you just doing your usual cowardly reaction-clicks with no further explanation?

Not when KC blitzed. And one dimensional, very little success opening space to run. Better OL would’ve given better chance for W.

Brown was out, Strange went down early, then McDermott got concussed. Our OL is a shambles. That may be part of the reasons second half was mediocre.
They blitzed practically every play.

And you just pointed out that 3 OL got hurt.

I agree we need an LT but this team has already spent a ton of draft choices the last 2 years on interior linemen. We've got 6 guys who man those 3 positions, and they all look solid. Onwenu is fine at RT, we need a LT and a later round backup.

No games in the NFL are called "down-the-line". None. The Pats got away with pushing Kelse over in the EZ but that wasn't called. He did flop a bit but that play should have been DPI it's called all the time.

The Chefs got some calls and non-calls. The Pats got some calls and non-calls. Such is the NFL.

Twitter is blowing up with how bad the Patriots got ****ing screwed by blatant referee-ball, but of course the Mac Jone shills “true fans of the laundry” didn’t see anything. So transparent and predictable it’s ****ing sad.
