God help us now.
We have a QB issue more than anything
For the last twenty years, Belichick has run a program based on the idea that a well-coached team that plays well on special teams, doesn't turn the ball over, and avoids bad penalties will win more often than not, no matter who's playing quarterback (or any other position).
The whole idea of the Patriot way is emphasis on execution and work over raw talent and stars. Brady didn't set the world on fire in his early years. They won with guys like Cassell and Garoppalo.
Stidham arguably has more raw talent than any other QB they've brought in for years. In college he didn't turn the ball over. I don't understand why people aren't excited by this situation. It's like everyone has forgotten the last 20 years.
