I'm not going to make a poll because it would be too confusing. So let me ask two questions:

1. What position do you expect Nike et al. to target with their first pick?
2. NIke calls and offers to let you pick the position the Pats draft first. What position do you pick?

You can name specific players to target if you want, but it's not necessary.

I'll do the same when the initial FA is over. It'll be interesting to see how much change there is.

If a top flight Left Tackle is available at 14 (or for a small move up), then go for it. Otherwise I expect BB to trade down to pick up an additional 2nd or 3rd.

Has to be tackle, if we stay at 14

I don't see us staying at 14 though.

Offense Left Tackle. (1st round)
Center. Following rounds (Love Andrews but he is injury prone the past few years) Keep Andrews but have a solid backup and future at position

Definitely OT. An OC in the 3rd/4th or 5th round to push Andrews would be nice despite having Russey and Hines. We need quality backups in the Tom Ashworth/Brandon Gorin molds.

OT is by far the biggest need

Though TE Brock Bowers, if there at 14, would be tempting

Has he declared for 2023 . I thought he will be available only for 2024.

The mayers dude from Notre Dame is probably the best fit at 14.

In terms of position, a good OT seems like it’ll help the 2023 team the most at this point.

But I’ll leave it to you fine folks who know what you’re talking about to actually identify someone. I don’t want them reaching for position when another superior talent elsewhere is available. Top tier talent is always helpful, and if we think the available talent CB, LB, or WR (for example) is better than what’s out there at tackle, then we need to grab the talent, and have OTs identified in rounds 2/3 that would be reasonable fits.

I'll take a game changing WR or TE.

Wow! he's game changer sign me up what a mismatch he would be on the field sign me up.

LT in the first round by a country mile.

WR1 is a huge need as well, but does anyone honestly still have faith in BB to pick the right WR?

We took Thornton at #50 this year, he of the 247 yards and 2 TDs.
Meawhile the Steelers just one pick later #51 get an NFL-ready wideout in George Pickens 6'3 201 lbs, 801 yards and 4 TDs in his rookie season.
He could have come in quite helpful for the offense!

Twig vs Stud. Patriots WR drafting woes continue:

we have 2 TEs that we dont use now...why draft one at 14? I would say BB takes a DL with #14...he should take, and we need 2 OT and a C

Hands down OT, whether he stays at 14 or trades back.
I would love to see a monster NT in the early rounds too. Someone to plug the middle and soak up OLmen.

I mean, just get a really good player. I’m not picky here.

For the sake of throwing something else out there other than OT…we know Bill loves his long corners, and I see three 6’2” guys roughly in that range.
