Brady accepting suspension:(

Here it is:
I'm very grateful for the overwhelming support I've received from Mr. Kraft, the Kraft family, coach Belichick, my coaches and teammates, the NFLPA, my agents, my loving family and most of all, our fans. It has been a challenging 18 months and I have made the difficult decision to no longer proceed with the legal process. I'm going to work hard to be the best player I can be for the New England Patriots and I look forward to having the opportunity to return to the field this fall.

I wish he would have fought it to the end, even if hopeless. Failing to take it to the bitter end will just give the haters more ammo.

*#%*£%*^#¥%#*^%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's for the best for the team, the suspension was definitely happening because the supreme court was never taking this case, a stay could of meant a suspension come into play in December or January.

He knew he had no chance of winning even if he was innocent.

Weak, hope he is sueing for defamation. Guess he wouldn't give up unless there was no chance...****ing sucks.

Too bad he gave in, but this must have been done in conjunction with all of his advisers and attorneys..

I hate to see his rep tarnished by such idiocy..

Read as: I can't keep putting Belichick's plans up in the air on the whims of the court, and I don't want to end up getting screwed with having to serve the 4 games in December or January, so I'm going to just take them now. Also, expect my defamation suit in February after I win my fifth ring.

No real bright side to this whole fiasco. Only thing that I find comforting is that he will not take as many hits this season and should be as healthy as ever come playoff time.

There is so much more to gain with a lawsuit so let us hope for that.
Could he sue for such a large sum and appear to be winning that Brady settles for removal of goodell and a huge sum of money for retired players association.
