Mac Jones beat the Bills earlier this year so when Zappe loses this week we should conclude that they both suck.
Mac Jones was apparently an exponentially bad setback for our offense. So naturally Zappe should win this game by 30

I’ll give Zappe that much for sure. As much as he is limited as a QB his team seems to have bought in with him there. That’s one of the biggest problems I had with Jones. They never bought in. He’s not a leader.

Early season Bills lost to Mac Jones. Not the team who has beaten the Cowboys and Chiefs and took Philly to overtime. Teams evolve over the season. Also didn’t help that the Bills had 5 starters out on defense that game.

Just like early season 2014 Pats got demolished by the Chiefs (who didn’t make the playoffs). Patriots won the Super Bowl that year… right?

Teams evolve.

But as I said, if they don’t win this game, then i’ll just accept that as a sign that we aren’t good enough. Pretty simple.
play the cowboys in dallas, they beat you

eagles lost milton williams for that game, and you ran wild over them... 173 yards on the ground

and please, defensive injuries? Judon, Gonzales, White, Uche, Markus Jones, Eukale were all out for that game

we are not a great team this year, and even worse when Mac Jones plays, & the fact that you have to drop the "injuries" argument says all you need to know about the Buffalo Bills

@GreenCow whats up with Diggs? I read he only played 60% snaps last game. Injury?

Very winnable game for the Bills. But the Pats are playing competitive football week to week finally so it should be a good game. Don’t think the Pats are at their level yet. Will be interesting to see what the Pats defense attacks. Very good against the run which seems to be what Buffalo has been leaning on lately.
Bills can ground and pound. James Cook is very good.

What will our OL be? Will Brown be healthy? Absolutely can’t have Ferentz in the lineup. Mafi will have to play better than he has been.

With Billy Yates leading the hogs the prognosis is not good.

Bills already had their trap game against us. I don't see them losing again at home. Should be way more competitive than that -12 line shows though.

Nah. Just 1 average QB according to some here. 1 average QB away from being even more mediocre and losing in the wildcard as opposed to not making it at all. Success is right around the corner!
1 average QB from being competitive, and 100 mill in cap space to upgrade the rest of the roster.

I would like to take the L because of how important that high pick is, but in a tough, well fought effort.

I like the fact that the team is still fighting and is rallying around Zappe. (and BB? )

If the Pats win I hope it is a dominating performance which shows they are on track to recover next year.

I recognize Zappe’s limitations, but let’s let him determine his ceiling, and not write him off.

At this point I think he has earned, at minimum, the right to fight for a roster spot next season, in what capacity, remains to be seen.
